India's new steel minister unveils industry plans
India’s newly-appointed steel minister, H D Kumaraswamy, held a detailed meeting on Tuesday with top steel industry officials to outline plans for the sector, including reviving defunct or struggling public sector undertakings, according to local press reports.
He requested officials submit a proposal with strategies to revive these companies, Kallanish notes.
