India’s KIOCL begins coke oven plant construction
India’s KIOCL has begun construction of its 180,000 tonnes/year coke oven plant at Panambur, Mangalore, as part of its backward integration. Indian steel minister RCP Singh laid the foundation stone for the new project on 20 February, Kallanish notes.
