India’s coking coal imports increase in July
Indian coking coal imports grew 10.46% on-year to 20.16 million tonnes in April-July, against 18.25mt a year earlier, according to customs data monitored by Kallanish.
Haldia Dock Complex was the largest destination for coking coal, importing 6.52mt in the four months. Other major destinations included Paradip (5.35mt), Visakhapatnam (2.61mt), V.O.Chidambaranar (2.24mt) and Mormugao (2.06mt).
