India’s Godavri Ispat expands iron ore, pellet capacity
Indian major secondary steel producer Godavari Ispat Pvt Ltd (GPIL) has ambitious plans to further expand its operations.
During its recent March-quarter investors call, attended by Kallanish, GPIL said it aims to more than double its iron ore mining capacity at the Ari Dongri mine in Chhattisgarh, increasing from 2.35 million tonnes/year to 6mt, pending environmental clearance.
