India’s coking coal imports increase in August
Indian coking coal imports grew 8% on-year to 5.34 million tonnes in August, against 4.94mt a year earlier, according to customs data monitored by Kallanish.
April-August imports thus increased 10% on-year to 25.5mt, compared to 23.2mt imported a year earlier.
