Indian scrap generation, imports seen rising
Steel scrap generation in India will reach 43 million tonnes/year by 2020, while imports will rise to 10m t/y to meet overall demand of 53m t/y, according to BB Singh, managing director of state-owned scrap merchant MSTC.
