India's May exports surge again, imports rise also
Indian finished steel exports surged 69.1% on-year in May to 641,000 tonnes, according to an Indian Joint Plant Committee (JPC) report seen by Kallanish. This was, however, down -14% on April. Domestic consumption was up only 1% to 7.49 million tonnes.
