Indian iron ore imports surge dramatically in June
Following the iron ore price drop which began towards the end of May, Indian importers ramped up intake of iron ore, resulting in a 470% on-year hike in imports in June to 454,250 tonnes.
Imports also increased 166% on-month versus 170,650t imported in May, according to customs data monitored by Kallanish.
