Indian HRC offers tick up on costlier production
Indian hot rolled coil producers have raised their export offers to Europe this week, mainly because of the projected rise in cost of production. Mills claim the recently procured, costlier raw materials will increase production cost for August rolling, sources tell Kallanish.
In the domestic market, Indian mills rolled over June’s offers to July; however, they have reduced the credit note discount by INR 750/tonne ($9.15), sources inform.
