Indian HRC exports fall amid duties, imports surge
Indian hot-rolled flat product shipments abroad plummeted 96.98% on-year to 18,959 tonnes in September, against 627,606t a year earlier. This also compares to only 16,072t in August and is a result of India’s export duty imposition in May.
The duty was annulled earlier this month.
