Indian fiscal-2019 iron ore prices seen range-bound
Indian iron ore prices should remain range-bound in the fiscal year through March 2019 (FY19) at INR 2,660/tonne ($38.7) for fines and INR 3,050/t ($44.3) for lump ore, according to India Ratings & Research (Ind-Ra).
Domestic iron ore prices are primarily linked to prices in largest ore-producing state Odisha (cost plus), import parity or export parity prices (for low grades), the credit rating agency explains.
