India launches global rail tender, ends Sail monopoly
India has launched a global tender for the procurement of 717,000 tonnes of rail, Kallanish learns from Indian Railways. This could spell the end of Steel Authority of India (Sail)’s monopoly on supplying rail to India’s rail operator.
