India prepares policy for washed PCI supply: reports
India’s government is finalising a policy to offer washed PCI (pulverized coal injection) coal to steelmakers, aiming to reduce the nation's dependency on imports, according to local press reports.
PCI coal, a type of metallurgical coal, serves as an auxiliary fuel in the steelmaking process, partially replacing coke.
