Imported scrap prices in Pakistan tumble
In the past two weeks, imported scrap prices in the Pakistan market have dropped by $15-20/tonne, Kallanish notes.
EU-origin shredded scrap is currently at $410-415/t cfr Pakistan. Although a few trades have been concluded at these rates, various buyers are bidding at lower rates of $400-405/t.
US-origin shredded scrap is at $407-408/t cfr.
