Imidro chairman steps down
Mehdi Karbasian has resigned from his post as chairman of the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (Imidro).
As chairman of the expansive state-owned metals holding, Karbasian was one of if not the most influential figure in Iran’s steel industry.
