Ilyich sinter shop upgrade to reduce dust emissions
Metinvest’s Ilyich steelworks has begun the eco-modernisation of its sinter shop by replacing gas purifiers in the limestone firing building, the company says.
Total investments amounted to UAH 200 million ($7.4m), Kallanish notes. It is planned to complete the modernisation of the gas purifiers of the limestone firing machines in the agglomeration shop by the end of this year.
