Ilyich Iron & Steel Works produces new HRC
Metinvest’s Ilyich Iron & Steel Works has produced the first commercial batch of S235JR grade 3mm thick and 1,500mm wide hot rolled coil in compliance with European EN 10025-2 standard.
The production was launched without having to raise capital, by adjusting the equipment of the existing 1700 Mill. The products are used for construction, railcar manufacturing, and production of pipe for general applications. They are intended for sale on the domestic …
