Ilyich increases steel, pig iron output in January-April
Metinvest’s Ilyich steelworks increased crude steel production in January-April, Kallanish notes.
Output amounted to 1.42 million tonnes, up by 10.7% on-year. Pig iron production increased by 8.9% to 1.56mt, while production of rolled products was more by 19.9% to 1.34mt.
In April alone, the plant produced about 350,000t of crude steel, 445,000t of pig iron and 335,000t of rolled products.
