Ilyich increases steel, pig iron output in January
Metinvest’s Ilyich steelworks increased crude steel production in January, Kallanish notes.
The volume amounted to 360,000 tonnes, up by 3% on-year. Pig iron production increased by 2.6% to 354,000t, while production of rolled products was more by 22.5% to 355,000t.
In December, the plant produced about 345,000t of crude steel, 330,000t of pig iron and 320,000t of rolled products.
