Ilyich increases 2020 output, product range
Metinvest’s Ilyich steelworks increased crude steel production in 2020, Kallanish notes.
The volume amounted to 4.05 million tonnes, up by 13.7% on-year. Pig iron production increased by 4.4% to 4.65mt, while production of rolled products was more by 12.4% to 3.67mt.
In December, the plant produced about 345,000 tonnes of crude steel, 330,000t of pig iron and 320,000t of rolled products.
