Ilva restarts No 4 blast furnace
Italian steelmaker Ilva confirms to Kallanish that it will restart its blast furnace No 4 at Taranto today, 22 September.
The company announced the development in a meeting in Taranto with local institutions on 21 September. Ilva says that during the meeting it illustrated the operating procedures and security measures planned for the system restart, which is planned to take place in the early hours of the morning.
