Italy nears public-private Ilva partnership deal with ArcelorMittal
Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte says the government and ArcelorMittal Italia are nearing a final agreement over the relaunch of troubled steelmaker Ilva.
The deal between the parties is shaping up as a public-private partnership, and the plan for the steelmaker goes “…in a marked direction of energy transition”, says a government note seen by Kallanish.
