Icdas slashes domestic rebar prices
Turkey's Icdas has reduced steeply its domestic rebar prices as the fall in Chinese steel prices led to a standstill in Turkish scrap imports and expectations for a decline in steel prices, Kallanish notes.
The 12-32mm, 10mm and 8mm diameter rebar of Icdas is now quoted at TRY 1,680/tonne ($564), TRY 1,690/t and TRY 1,700/t, down by TRY 100/t from its previous price list at the beginning of May.
