Icdas slashes domestic longs prices as scrap slumps
Turkish scrap-based long steelmaker Icdas has reduced notably its domestic rebar and wire rod prices this week, reflecting the plunge in scrap import prices, notes Kallanish.
The steelmaker's 12-32mm, 10mm, and 8mm diameter rebar is now quoted at TRY 2,180/t ($/t), TRY 2,190/t and TRY 2,200/t, effective 2 October. This is down by TRY 110/t over the previous, 21 September price list.
