Icdas revises up domestic longs prices
Turkish scrap-based long steelmaker Icdas has lifted its rebar and wire rod prices for the domestic market amid strong scrap import prices and lira depreciation, notes Kallanish.
Icdas' 12-32mm, 10mm, and 8mm diameter rebar is offered at TRY 2,610/tonne ($673/t), TRY 2,620/t and TRY 2,630/t respectively, with effect from 14 December. This is up by TRY 40/t over last week's prices and follows another TRY 40/t raise made last week.
