Icdas reopens domestic longs sales at higher prices
Turkish long steelmaker Icdas has re-opened its domestic sales of rebar and wire rod at increased prices, in line with the depreciation of the Turkish lira, Kallanish notes.
The scrap-based steelmaker has hiked its 12-32mm, 10mm, and 8mm diameter rebar prices by TRY 80/tonne each to TRY 1,920/tonne ($509/t), TRY 1,930/t and TRY 1,940/t respectively, effective 16 January.
