Icdas reduces domestic rebar prices as scrap falls
Turkish long steelmaker Icdas has opened its domestic order-book at lower prices after the holidays as scrap import prices maintain a downward course, Kallanish notes.
Icdas’ 12-32mm, 10mm and 8mm diameter rebar is quoted at TRY 1,350/tonne ($466/t), TRY 1,360/t and TRY 1,370/t respectively, each down by TRY 60/t from its previous, 13 June, price list.
The steelmaker has also reduced its domestic wire rod prices by TRY 60/t to TRY 1,490-1,520/…
