Icdas reduces domestic rebar prices as scrap falls
Turkish scrap-based long steelmaker Icdas has cut its prices of rebar for the domestic market, following the decline in scrap import prices, notes Kallanish.
Icdas' 12-32mm, 10mm, and 8mm diameter rebar is now offered at TRY 2,710/tonne ($681/t), TRY 2,720/t and TRY 2,730/t respectively, effective beginning 2 April. This is down TRY 50/t from the previous 14 March price list update, when the steelmaker raised its rebar prices each by TRY 30/t …
