Icdas raises prices as lira weakens, scrap upticks
Turkish scrap-based steelmaker Icdas has continued lifting its domestic long steel prices this week, reflecting the further depreciation of the lira and the rebound in scrap import prices, notes Kallanish.
The company's 12-32mm, 10mm, and 8mm diameter rebar is offered at TRY 2,500/tonne ($632/t), TRY 2,510/t and TRY 2,520/t respectively, effective 21 November, up TRY 80/t on-week.
