Icdas raises longs prices on rising scrap
Turkish long steelmaker Icdas has raised its rebar and wire rod prices for the domestic market as Turkish scrap imports resumed at higher prices, Kallanish notes.
The scrap-based steelmaker's 12-32mm, 10mm, and 8mm diameter rebar prices each went up by TRY 40/tonne to TRY 1,810/t ($512/t), TRY 1,820/t and TRY 1,830/t respectively on 19 December. This is the company's first price change since 21 November.
