Icdas raises domestic rebar, wire rod prices
Turkey's Icdas has raised its domestic rebar and wire rod prices as scrap imports prices remain strong with a tendency to rise further, Kallanish notes.
The scrap-based steelmaker's 12-32mm, 10mm, and 8mm diameter rebar prices have increased each by TRY 30/tonne to TRY 1,900/t ($511/t), TRY 1,910/t and TRY 1,920/t respectively, effective 2 March. This follows a raise of TRY 40/t in the middle of February.
