Icdas raises domestic rebar prices as scrap soars
Turkish scrap-based long steelmaker Icdas has raised its domestic rebar prices as scrap import prices increased notably after the end of the Eid al-Fitr holiday, notes Kallanish.
The steelmaker is offering 12-32mm, 10mm, and 8mm diameter rebar respectively at TRY 1,950/tonne ($552/t), TRY 1,960/t and TRY 1,970/t, effective 29 June, up by TRY 20/t from the previous price list. Last week Icdas raised its rebar prices by TRY 20/t each.
