Icdas raises domestic rebar prices on lira depreciation
Turkish long steelmaker Icdas has lifted its prices of rebar sold in the domestic market by TRY 30/tonne to reflect the weakened lira against the dollar after the military coup attempt last Friday, Kallanish notes.
The 12-32mm, 10mm and 8mm diameter rebar of Icdas is currently quoted at TRY 1,400/tonne ($464/t), TRY 1,410/t and TRY 1,420/t respectively, according to the company's price list updated on 19 June.
