Icdas raises domestic rebar prices
Turkish integrated long steelmaker Icdas has revised its prices of rebar and wire rod upwards for the domestic market as scrap import prices have rebounded, Kallanish learns.
Icdas' 12-32mm, 10mm, and 8mm diameter rebar is offered at TRY 2,550/tonne ($667/t), TRY 2,560/t and TRY 2,570/t respectively, effective 29 January, up TRY 50/t on-week. A week earlier, Icdas reduced its rebar prices by TRY 60/t, reflecting the fall in scrap import prices.
