Icdas raises domestic longs prices after scrap uptick
Turkish scrap-based long steelmaker Icdas has increased its domestic rebar and wire rod prices, reflecting the upward trend in scrap import prices, Kallanish notes.
Icdas has lifted the prices of its 12-32mm, 10mm, and 8mm diameter rebar each by TRY 30/tonne on-week to TRY 1,960/t ($546/t), TRY 1,970/t and TRY 1,980/t respectively as from 8 May. This follows a raise by another TRY 30/t last week.
