Icdas raises domestic longs prices on costlier scrap
Turkey's Icdas has raised its rebar and wire rod prices for the domestic market, following the rebound in scrap import prices, Kallanish notes.
The scrap-based steelmaker's 12-32mm, 10mm, and 8mm diameter rebar prices have each increased TRY 30/tonne on-week to TRY 1,910/tonne ($525/t), TRY 1,920/t and TRY 1,930/t, effective 3 April. The increase follows a reduction by TRY 60/t a week earlier.
