Icdas raises domestic longs prices
Turkish scrap-based long steelmaker Icdas has lifted its prices of rebar and wire rod for the domestic market as scrap import values have increased further this week, Kallanish notes.
Icdas' 12-32mm, 10mm, and 8mm diameter rebar prices have increased each by TRY 30/tonne on-week to TRY 1,930/t ($546/t), TRY 1,940/t and TRY 1,950/t, respectively, effective 3 May.
