Icdas pushes up domestic rebar prices
Turkish long steelmaker Icdas has raised its prices of rebar for the domestic market by another TRY 30/tonne as scrap import prices remained on the rise, Kallanish notes.
The steelmaker is offering its 12-32mm, 10mm and 8mm diameter rebar at TRY 1,390/t ($483), TRY 1,400/t and TRY 1,410/t respectively, with effect from 14 March. It previously raised rebar prices by TRY 30/t on 9 March.
