Icdas lifts longs prices on weak lira
Turkish long steelmaker Icdas has raised its domestic rebar and wire rod prices by another TRY 40/tonne as the Turkish lira depreciated further last week, Kallanish notes.
The company's 12-32mm, 10mm, and 8mm diameter rebar prices are now quoted at TRY 1,770/t ($525/t), TRY 1,780/t and TRY 1,790/t, effective 21 November. The increase comes after a TRY 40/t raise last week and a hike by a combined TRY 90/t the week before.
