Icdas lifts further domestic longs prices
Turkish long steelmaker Icdas has raised its domestic rebar prices by TRY 30/tonne ($7.86/t) this week as scrap import prices rose and the lira depreciated again, Kallanish notes.
The scrap-based producer's 12-32mm, 10mm, and 8mm diameter rebar is now offered at TRY 2,350/t ($616/t), TRY 2,360/t and TRY 2,370/t. The move follows a hike by TRY 50/t last week on lira weakening.
