Icdas lifts domestic rebar prices as scrap firms
Turkish scrap-based long steelmaker Icdas has raised its domestic rebar and wire rod prices as scrap import prices have moved upwards this week, Kallanish notes.
The company's 12-32mm, 10mm, and 8mm diameter rebar prices have increased each by TRY 70/tonne to TRY 1,780/t ($480/t), TRY 1,790/t and TRY 1,800/t respectively, effective 8 February. The move follows a rise by TRY 30/t each on 6 February.
