Icdas lifts domestic rebar prices on rising scrap
Turkish long steelmaker Icdas has pushed its rebar prices for the domestic market up again by TRY 30/tonne as scrap import prices kept rising during the week, Kallanish notes.
Icdas currently quotes its 12-32mm, 10mm and 8mm diameter rebar at TRY 1,720/t ($611/t), TRY 1,730/t and TRY 1,740/t. The company has also raised its 5.5-8.5mm dia wire rod (SAE 1006) prices by TRY 30/t to TRY 1,810-1,840/t. Icdas’ prices are ex-works and include 18% VAT.
