Icdas lifts domestic longs prices on scrap surge
Turkish long steelmaker Icdas has raised its domestic rebar prices by another TRY 30/tonne as scrap import prices grew further throughout the past week, Kallanish notes.
The company's 12-32mm, 10mm, and 8mm diameter rebar prices are currently quoted at TRY 1,620/t ($510/t), TRY 1,630/t and TRY 1,640/t respectively, effective 7 November. The increase follows a hike by a combined TRY 100/t in the past week.
