Icdas lifts domestic longs prices on rising scrap
Turkish scrap-based long steelmaker Icdas has revised up its domestic rebar and wire rod prices, reflecting the increase in scrap import prices, Kallanish notes.
Icdas has raised its 12-32mm, 10mm, and 8mm diameter rebar prices each by TRY 30/t to TRY 2,040/tonne ($573/t), TRY 2,050/t and TRY 2,060/t, with effect from 21 July. In the first week of July, the company hiked its rebar prices by a total of TRY 60/t.
