Icdas lifts again domestic rebar, wire rod prices
Turkish long steelmaker Icdas has raised further its domestic rebar and wire rod prices, reflecting the rise in steel prices globally on the back of increasing raw material prices, Kallanish notes.
The steelmaker's 12-32mm, 10mm, and 8mm diameter rebar prices have increased each by TRY 30/tonne to TRY 1,470/t ($373/t), TRY 1,480/t and TRY 1,490/t respectively from 24 October. The move follows an increase of TRY 10/t each last week.
