Icdas lifts domestic longs prices again
Turkey's Icdas has started the week with another raise in domestic long steel prices as scrap import prices continue rising amid a weak lira, notes Kallanish.
The scrap-based steelmaker's 12-32mm, 10mm, and 8mm diameter rebar is offered at TRY 2,530/tonne ($643/t), TRY 2,540/t and TRY 2,550/t respectively, effective 27 November, up TRY 30/t on-week. This follows a hike by TRY 80/t the week before when the lira continued depreciating and scrap import…
