Icdas keeps pushing up domestic rebar prices
Turkish long steelmaker Icdas has again raised its prices of rebar for the domestic market as scrap import prices follow an upward course, Kallanish notes.
The company’s prices of 12-32mm, 10mm and 8mm diameter rebar have each increased by TRY 30/tonne to TRY 1,590/t ($557/t), TYR 1,600/t and TRY 1,610/t respectively on 14 April. This is the company’s fifth price hike since the beginning of April.
