Icdas hikes domestic rebar prices as scrap rises
Turkish long steelmaker Icdas has increased further its prices of rebar for the domestic market as import scrap prices keep rising.
Icdas’ 12-32mm, 10mm and 8mm dia rebar prices have been lifted each by TRY 20/tonne to TRY 1,290/t ($441), TRY 1,300/t and TRY 1,310/t respectively, Kallanish learns from the company’s 7 March price list. This follows price hikes by TRY 20/t on 2 March and TRY 30/t on 1 March.
