Icdas hikes domestic longs prices again
Turkish integrated long steelmaker Icdas has again raised its domestic rebar and wire rod prices, reflecting the increase in scrap import prices and weakened lira, Kallanish notes.
The company's 12-32mm, 10mm, and 8mm diameter rebar is offered at TRY 2,010/tonne ($533/t), TRY 2,020/t and TRY 2,030/t respectively from 9 March, each up by TRY 40/t from the previous price list. Earlier this week Icdas lifted its prices also by TRY 40/t.
