Icdas further raises domestic longs prices
Turkish scrap-based long steelmaker Icdas has again increased its rebar and wire rod prices for the domestic market as scrap import prices have risen slightly but the lira has weakened, Kallanish notes.
Icdas' 12-32mm, 10mm, and 8mm diameter rebar prices have moved up each by TRY 30/tonne over the previous day to TRY 1,970/t ($530/t), TRY 1,980/t and TRY 1,990/t on 6 April. Three days earlier, the company had again raised the prices by TRY 30/t each.
